Instructions for Stamping with Our Stamp Sets

Stamping with our stamp sets is a lot of fun. The many different stamps in each set offer an almost unlimited number of combinations and creative possibilities. Whether you use just one stamp, combine several, or even mix stamps from different sets, the result is always a completely unique design. Be warned—there’s a risk you might lose track of the world around you while you’re stamping!

To get started, you’ll need:

-    a stamp set

-    an acrylic block

-    stamp ink

-    material for testing and

-    a special stamp cleaner or a damp microfiber cloth

We’ve put together a few basic tips here on how to make stamping easy.

1.    Take the stamp set out of the package and remove the thin protective film

2. Peel the desired stamp design off the backing sheet

3. Place the stamp design with the smooth side facing up in the center of the acrylic stamp block. The stamp will adhere without any additional aids. You can also arrange multiple stamp designs on the acrylic stamp block to create your very own custom stamp.

4. Choose your preferred stamp ink color and apply it evenly to the stamp

5. Position your stamp and apply it to your postcard, envelope, or other item using even pressure. We recommend that you always make a test impression, especially at the beginning, to ensure the best possible result. Many factors can influence the result when stamping, such as the ink color you choose, the amount of ink, the surface you’re stamping on, and the pressure applied while stamping.

6. You should clean the stamp immediately after use. To do this, first “stamp off” any excess ink. For cleaning, we recommend the convenient stamp cleaner, which is available for purchase from us; alternatively, you can use a damp microfiber cloth. Avoid using agressive cleaners.

7. Let the stamp dry completely, remove it from the acrylic stamp block, and place it back on the backing sheet

8. Stamp sets should be stored horizontally, protected from light and dust. Avoid high temperatures.
