In August 2022, a lighthouse hit the headlines across Germany - Bremerhaven's listed pier tower, built in 1914, began to lean. The landmark on the pier, which has been closed since 2015, stood more crookedly than the Leaning Tower of Pisa. In the meantime, the structure has been demolished with the vision to rebuild it one day. In the meantime, we honour the landmark with a postcard - pure nostalgia.

The lighthouse of Heligoland has a long history and is a landmark of this small island in the North Sea. A stamp released on July 2023 goes perfectly with our iconic vintage travel card "Helgoland" This card holds a corresponding special cancellation mark "Tag der Briefmarke - Leuchtturm Helgoland" of July 2023 which turns the card into a maxicard. Due to the nature of maxicards, each copy looks slightly different and  may vary from the picture. Attention - small edition only! With its port, Hamburg is a gateway to the world. And there are many sights to discover - a tour of the port itself, the old Elbe tunnel, Landungsbrücken, the fish market and the new landmark, the Elbphilharmonie concert hall. In March 2024, a stamp featuring the Landungsbrücken was issued in the special stamp series "Sights in Germany". Perfect for a maxi card!  The 'Ticket to...
