With its port, Hamburg is a gateway to the world. And there are many sights to discover - a tour of the port itself, the old Elbe tunnel, Landungsbrücken, the fish market and the new landmark, the Elbphilharmonie concert hall. In January 2024, a stamp with the Brandenburg Gate on the theme of 'Berlin' appeared in the special stamp series "Zeitreise Deutschland". This 'Ticket to... The Berlin Bear is a beloved symbol of the capital city. Golden and Silver Bears are awarded at the annual Berlin International Film Festival, the Berlinale. A beautiful special stamp was issued to mark the 75th anniversary in 2025. Two first-day stamps were designed – one featuring the front of a bear and the other the back!
