Bremen and the city of Bremerhaven are a province of their own - the smalles one in Germany when it comes to population.
In August 2022, a lighthouse hit the headlines across Germany - Bremerhaven's listed pier tower, built in 1914, began to lean. The landmark on the pier, which has been closed since 2015, stood more crookedly than the Leaning Tower of Pisa. In the meantime, the structure has been demolished with the vision to rebuild it one day. In the meantime, we honour the landmark with a postcard - pure nostalgia.
